Exeter Chiefs have announced that full-back Josh Hodge has signed a new contract with the Gallagher Premiership club.

Hodge joined Exeter in 2020 and has gone on to make 37 appearances for them scoring 39 points.

He also featured for Newcastle Falcons between 2018 and 2020 while also representing England at the Under 18, Under 19 and Under 20 levels.

“To be honest, it wasn’t a hard decision to sign a new contract with this fantastic club,” said Hodge to the club's official website.

“Personally, I’m over the moon and I’m looking forward to my future here in the sunny county of Devon.

“There has been a lot of effort, good business decisions and hard work, both in training and on the pitch, to achieve the results the club has achieved in recent years.”

The length of Hodge's contract extension has not been revealed by the Devon club.

Exeter Chiefs are positioned third in the Gallagher Premiership table with seven wins from 13 matches.
