Harlequins Women have confirmed that England back Emily Scott has signed a new contract ahead of the 2022/23 season.

Having represented Thurrock and Saracens previously, Scott joined Harlequins in 2018 and went on to make 71 appearances for them spread across four seasons while helping them to a Premier 15s title last year.

Capped 38 times for England, Scott also was part of the England Sevens squad that won the Bronze medal during the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

“I’m delighted to be re-signing with Harlequins. We’ve made some great signings over the summer and are also investing in our youth through the Centre of Excellence programme and we’re building an exciting future.

"I’m confident we will learn lessons from last season and I’m looking forward to getting back onto the grass and putting the hard work in.”

“I love playing for the Club and it gives me immense pride every time I run out in the Famous Quarters. I can’t wait for the 2022/23 season.”
