Ellis Jenkins signs new contract with Cardiff Blues

Cardiff Blues back-rower Ellis Jenkins has signed a new long-term deal with the Welsh region.

Jenkins, 22, has made 49 appearances for the Blues and the former Wales Under-20 captain is rated as one of the brightest prospects in Welsh rugby.

Although the length of the deal has not been disclosed, head coach Danny Wilson told the official Blues website: "I am thrilled that Ellis is not only part of the squad here and we have now secured his long-term future."
