Scotland international John Hardie will return to the Edinburgh team for their trip to face Guinness Pro 12 leaders Leinster on Friday.

The flanker has recovered from neck and groin problems to start for the first time since January.

Edinburgh have made four changes, with centre Chris Dean coming in along with scrum-half Sam Hidalgo-Clyne, while Mike Allen and Sean Kennedy drop to the bench.

In the pack, Hardie replaces Hamish Watson at openside while Jamie Ritchie comes in at the blindside for Mike Coman, who has a calf injury.

Head coach Alan Solomons said: "Leinster top the table and playing them in Dublin will be a huge challenge. We are all excited about the game and of the challenge it presents."

Meanwhile, 23-year-old hooker George Turner has signed a new two-year contract.

Turner, who has made 10 appearances for the club, said: "Growing up in Edinburgh, I wanted to represent the club from the time I began playing rugby.

"I've enjoyed the opportunities I've had here and I'm looking forward to playing more and kicking on for the next few seasons."
