Ealing Trailfinders have confirmed that they will be resuming close contact training after returning to Stage Two.

The decision follows after all the players and staff returned negative for the COVID-19 PCR Swab Tests conducted at Trailfinders Sports Club.

"All players and staff tested negative following the COVID-19 PCR Swab conducted at Trailfinders Sports Club, meaning that close contact training has resumed," read a statement from the club.

"The tests will be conducted every week as well as the daily medical screening which includes a symptom checklist and temperature check upon arrival".

Ealing Trailfinders were at second place with 11 wins from 14 matches when the tournament was cancelled due to the pandemic coronavirus resulting in promotion for Newcastle Falcons to the Premiership for the 2020/21 season.
