Saracens have confirmed that Scotland international Duncan Taylor has signed a one-year contract extension with the Gallagher Premiership club.

Taylor has been part of Saracens since 2012 and has went past 150 appearances for the club last season. He also had represented Bedford Blues prior to his association with Saracens.

“I’m delighted to be staying. This club is a special place and I can’t wait to get going again for what is a hugely exciting season," he told the club's official website.

Having represented Scotland A during their 2013 campaign, Taylor made his Test debut for the Dark Blues in June 2013 against Samoa and has 28 caps for his country. He was also part of their 2019 Rugby World Cup campaign where he started in two out of the three games he played.

Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall is pleased with Taylor committing to the club for another season.

“Duncan is a hugely respected member of our group and is a wonderful ambassador for this club. He continues to be a central part of our squad and we are delighted that he will be with us for another year.”
