Saracens have announced that skipper Lotte Clapp has signed a new deal with the club for the 2022/23 season.

Earlier, the club also confirmed that Zoe Harrison, Sarah McKenna and Holly Aitchison have signed contract extension with the club for another season.

Clapp joined Saracens in 2013 and has become an integral part of the club since then making 126 appearances for them.

She also captained Saracens to their third Premier 15s title in June earlier in the year.

Saracens head coach Alex Austerberry is delighted in Clapp remaining with the club for another season.

“Lotte has been and continues to be an outstanding performer and servant for Saracens. Superb on the field, hard working, great impact on both sides of the ball and fundamental to our transition game," he told the club's official website.

Lotte has grown in to a fantastic player and impressive leader and her form has deserved her return to the international stage.

"Lotte is a fantastic role model and I am delighted she has committed once again to Saracens. She has had a great impact on the group and I have no doubt she will be pivotal in our growth and future success.”
