Edinburgh head coach Duncan Hodge wants his team to carry forward their winning momentum into the upcoming Pro 12 encounter against Zebre on Saturday.

Edinburgh, who are reeling at the ninth position in the Pro 12 table have been on a three-match winning streak spread across two competitions since their last defeat to Connacht. Following their 45-10 victory over Benetton Treviso in their Pro 12 encounter, Edinburgh have also won both their European Challenge Cup matches and are currently at the top position in Pool 5.

With results emerging positive, Hodge has retained almost the same squad and wants the team to maintain their good run.

"We've named a fairly settled squad for this week as we go back into Guinness PRO12 action and look to build on the three consecutive wins," he said.

"We've had a good week of training as positivity and confidence continues to build but our focus remains on continuing to perform and gathering momentum in the championship.

"The support last week at BT Murrayfield was outstanding and we can't wait to get back out in front of our home fans and put in another performance they can be proud of."

Argentinia international Felipe Arregui will be making his first start, replacing WP Nel, who is sidelined for four weeks following a neck injury. Stuart McInally, Viliame Mata and John Hardie have also been given starts.
