The United Rugby Championship (URC) has postponed the Round 2 clash between Edinburgh Rugby and Ulster due to severe weather conditions caused by Storm Amy.

The fixture, scheduled to take place at Hive Stadium, was called off after storm-force winds made it unsafe to proceed.

Organisers confirmed that alternative venues, including Murrayfield, were also unsuitable given the worsening conditions across Scotland. Safety concerns for players, officials, and supporters prompted the decision.

The URC will now work with broadcasters and both clubs to identify a new date for the match.

"Ulster supporters who have travelled to Edinburgh this weekend, please take care and stay safe on your journey home," read a statement from the club.

"We will share further details from the URC once the rescheduled fixture has been confirmed.
