Bulls 13-45 Crusaders, Loftus Versfeld
Scorecard

Sevu Reece scored a hat-trick as Crusaders went on to trounce Bulls 13-45 in their Super Rugby face-off at Loftus Versfeld on Friday.

Crusaders got off to a promising start when a chip kick from George Bridge evaded Handre Pollard to allow Richie Mo'unga score a converted try in the 14th minute. Mo'unga looked in exceptional touch as he went past RG Snyman and Pollard for his second converted try in the 22nd minute.

A combination of Bridge and centre Jack Goodhue set up Mitchell Dunshea for Crusaders' third try in the 31st minute and by the end of the first half, the visitors scored 26 points with Reece dotting down in the 37th minute for the first of his three tries.

All Bulls managed in the first half was two penalties from Pollard as the teams went into the second half with a 6-26 scoreline.

Burger Odendaal with a 57th minute try stretched Bulls' tally to 13 points but a double from Reece in the 48th and 67th minutes followed by a 75th minute touchdown from Scott Barrett ensured Crusaders went on to seal a 32 point victory.
