It's here! The new Gloucester Rugby home kit for the 2016/17 season has arrived.

The shirt was revealed on Thursday afternoon to Club Members who attended an exclusive event at Hartpury College, where first team stars Greig Laidlaw, Matt Scott, Jonny May, Lewis Ludlow and Tom Denton were the first to show off the new design.

The Cherry and White hooped home shirt manufactured by XBlades Sport, adorns the logo of main club partner Mitsubishi Motors.

The club is also delighted to welcome Venue Now, Volvic and Simplicity to the club's kit for the new season.

Gloucester Rugby CEO Stephen Vaughan is excited to reveal the new design for the Cherry and Whites after consultation and feedback from supporters.

"We're really excited to show our supporters the new look kit, and we cannot wait to see it on the backs of our support at Kingsholm and at grounds around the Aviva Premiership and in Europe.

"We have worked hard with XBlades Sports to develop our new designs and think we have captured the true 'Cherry and White' look and feel that we are famous for, complete with black shorts and socks.

"Special thanks must go to Mitsubishi Motors, whom following feedback from supporters agreed to a linear logo on the home shirt. I can't think of many successful brands that would listen and allow us to make this type of change but they totally buy in to what the supporters told us and are delighted with the results.

The new Gloucester Rugby home shirt is available on pre-sale to Club Members on Thursday afternoon at the Gloucester Rugby Megastore at Gloucester Quays. Just show your Club Card and don't forget to use the £5 discount voucher in your Club Membership Exclusive Offers Booklet. Note: the shirts will not be on display in the shop, just ask at the till and the staff will get your size.
