England have recalled Joe Cokanasiga in the 25-man squad ahead of the upcoming Six Nations clash against France at Twickenham after the Bath winger recovered from a knee injury.

The 21-year-old missed the game against Ireland last weekend due to the injury but now will be in contention after replacing Mike Brown in the squad.

Ellis Genge and Harry Williams, who was drafted on the bench during the 20-32 win against Ireland are left out of the squad while Maro Itoje is ruled out for at least next two games.

The duo's place has been taken by Ben Moon and Dan Cole and if the latter makes it to the matchday squad it will be his first appearance for the red rose team since March last year. Itoje's spot in the 25-man squad is taken by Brad Shields after he managed to recover from a side strain.

England coach Eddie Jones will name the matchday squad on Friday morning as they hope to build on their win against Ireland when they face France at Twickenham on Sunday.
