Barbarians announce 2025 Summer Rugby squad

The iconic Barbarians rugby club has unveiled its star-studded team for their summer match on June 28, bringing together seasoned internationals and fresh talent from across rugby-playing nations.

The squad includes renowned names like Australia’s fly-half Christian Lealiifano, England’s powerhouse back-row player Piers Francis, and Ireland’s soaring centre Stuart McCloskey.

Notably, players from Tier 2 nations also feature prominently—Uruguay’s fullback Ignacio Dotti and Fiji’s playmaker Kini Murimurivalu add dynamic variety to the mix.

The Barbarians’ unique selection process aims to mix different playing styles, nationalities, and experience levels—designed to promote thrilling rugby and provide a platform for both emerging talent and established stars.
