Argentina make forced changes to squad for November series

Argentina head coach Mario Ledesma has made additions to the squad ahead of their November series clashes.

Gloucester lock Matias Alemanno and London Irish prop prop Facundo Gigena along with Rodrigo Bruni are nursing shoulder injuries while Toulouse’s Juan Cruz Mallia is also sidelined.

Ledesma has recalled lock Lucas Paulos and prop Rodrigo Martinez into the squad with both the players featuring in two games for the Pumas previously.

Back row forward Joaquin Oviedo, whose only appearance for Argentina came during the Gold Coast encounter against Australia also returns along with Santiago Cordero, who was initially overlooked.

Argentina will be facing France, Italy and Ireland on 6th, 13th and 21st November respectively.
