Argentina international Felipe Ezcurra joins Leicester Tigers on short-term deal

Leicester Tigers have confirmed the signing of Argentina international Felipe Ezcurra on a short-term deal.

With Harry Simmons out with injured knee and Ben Youngs set to be involved in England's November Tests, the 25-year-old will provide cover until the end of the autumn internationals.

Ezcurra made his debut with Hindu club and was also involved with Super Rugby club Jaguares between 2016 and 2018.

He also played for Argentina three times since his debut in 2014 but his last appearance for the Pumas came in June 2016.

Leicester Tigers are positioned seventh in the Gallagher Premiership table with 13 points from five games.
