The Rugby Football Union has confirmed Allianz Insurance as the sponsor for the Women's Premier 15s competition.
The decision follows after Tyrrells decided to end their three-year contract with the Women's top tier competition after the 2019/20 season was declared null and void due to the pandemic coronavirus.
The new season of the Premier 15s will kick-start from 10th October and will have 18 rounds with top four teams qualifying to the semi-finals that will be played at the home venue of the top two teams.
The final will be played on 8th May next year.
Head of Women's Performance Nicky Ponsford is confident that the new deal with Allianz will benefit the women's game reaching the next level.
"This commitment from Allianz will have a significant and positive impact on the continued success of our women and girls' teams. Attracting a partner like Allianz is also a great honour and shows just how far the women's game has developed," said Ponsford.
Saracens Women's head coach Alex Austerberry is excited about the launch of the new season.
“The group is very excited and energised about the return to competitive fixtures and is very much looking forward to the day they can run out and see all of you in the crowd.
“We would like to thank you all for your continued support, messages, passion and positivity over this challenging time. We hope to repay this through our performances and efforts going forward.”
