Wand’s biggest moment of the month came in Leicester’s away win over Gloucester Rugby in the Slater Cup at Villa Park. He was named Gallagher Player of the Match after scoring in the opening minute and setting the tone for an important victory.

That result followed Leicester’s home win over Bristol Bears, another match in which Wand delivered a strong all-round performance as the Tigers built momentum in the standings.

Premiership Award Highlights Breakthrough Season

CEO of Gallagher Nick Harris said the March contest was closely fought, with Wand edging out McParland in the final vote.

“March’s Gallagher Player of the Month was a closely fought competition and Will is a well-deserved winner, and it is clear to see that he is enjoying a real breakthrough season at the Tigers.

"We are two thirds of the way through the season and its still all to play for. We wish all the teams and players the very best of the luck for the remainder of the season.”
