Wales forward Donna Rose will miss her side's final Pool A game against Australia following a suspension.

Rose, who played 61 minutes during the game against the Wallaroos was cited for making contact with an opponent in the ruck above the line of the shoulders.

Initially she was handed a two-week ban that was reduced by a game provided she completes the World Rugby coaching intervention programme successfully.

Rose could be available for Wales' quarter-final game if they managed to make it to the top eight in the group stage.

Wales currently are at third place in Pool A table with a win and a defeat apiece in the two games. A win over Australia in Saturday's game in Whangarei will see them finish second in the group behind New Zealand.
