Scorecard

Billy Vunipola scored the decisive try in the 69th minute while Owen Farrell contributed with 20 points as Saracens maintained their winning streak after beating Harlequins 20-25 in their Gallagher Premiership encounter at Twickenham Stoop on Saturday.

This is Saracens' sixth win in as many games but they slipped to second place after failing to acquire a bonus point while Harlequins are positioned sixth with 14 points.

The first 34 minutes saw Marcus Smith and Farrell trade two penalties apiece as the scores were levelled 6-6 but that came after the Quins suffered a setback when Paul Lasike was stretchered off the field with a head injury.

Mike Brown was on his 300th appearance for the Quins but it was Danny Care, who made an impact on his 250th game when he scored the opening try in the game in the 35th minute and a conversion from Smith ensured the home side had a 13-6 lead.

Farrell with a penalty kick on either side of the break reduced the gap to one point but Joe Marchant made a splendid effort to catch a miscued kick from Smith to cross over in the 54th minute before the fly-half kicked the extras to make the scoreline 20-12.

Billy Vunipola had a try denied earlier in the game when he was penalised for a deliberate knock-on but made the second opportunity count after a pass from Alex Lozowski and Farrell, who kicked the conversion also added two more penalty kicks to complete a 20-25 victory for the Sarries.
