Vodacom Bulls have confirmed the signing of South African flanker Cyle Brink from Gallagher Premiership club Leicester Tigers.

Brink started his career with provincial side Golden Lions in 2014 with his Super Rugby debut for Lions coming two years later. He made a switch to Leicester Tigers ahead of the 2020/21 season.

A former South Africa Under 20 international, he was part of the squad that competed in the 2014 IRB Junior World Championship.

Bulls director of rugby Jake White is delighted to have the services of Brink.

“We are very happy to have secured the services of Cyle Brink,” said White to the club's official website.

“Cyle is an exceptionally gifted athlete who has proven himself as a world-class rugby player from his time at the Emirates Lions and now at Leicester Tigers in England over the past year.

“We have no doubt that he will add great value to the squad, both on and off the field, and will equally contribute with his stellar performances, experience and leadership qualities. We look forward to seeing him in the blue jumper.”

Bulls currently are at 15th position in the United Rugby Championship after managing a solitary win from five matches.
