Talking Rugby Union has welcomed a new partnership between National League Rugby (NLR) and Clubber TV, marking another important step forward for the visibility and accessibility of National One and National Two.
Having covered the leagues for more than a decade, TRU has a longstanding connection with National League Rugby, helping to tell the stories of the clubs, players and communities that make up the third and fourth tiers of the English game.
Alongside its editorial coverage, Talking Rugby Union has also been behind NLR’s digital channels for more than 10 years, supporting the growth of its online presence and helping bring the divisions to a wider audience.
The new agreement with Clubber TV represents an exciting next step in that journey, creating further opportunities for supporters to watch matches, follow their clubs and engage with National League Rugby throughout the season.
Under the partnership, clubs across National One and National Two North, East and West will have the opportunity to select fixtures to be broadcast on Clubber TV. The platform will also enable clubs to stream away matches back to their own clubhouses, helping bring supporters together and strengthen connections within rugby communities.
Talking Rugby Union will work alongside Clubber TV to capture and share key moments from across the National League Rugby season, including in-game clips and highlights from selected fixtures.
The scale of the opportunity is reflected in the 12.9 million video views generated by NLR’s main social media accounts during the 2025/26 season.
That figure underlines the appetite for rugby at this level and the importance of continuing to invest in how the leagues connect with existing supporters and introduce themselves to new audiences.
For Talking Rugby Union, National League Rugby has long been a cornerstone of its coverage. Over the past decade, we have followed the drama, ambition and achievements of clubs across the divisions, championing a level of the game that plays a vital role in the English rugby pyramid.
From promotion battles and title races to the development of players progressing towards the professional game, National League Rugby offers compelling stories that deserve to reach as wide an audience as possible.
The conclusion of the 2025/26 National One campaign was a reminder of that appeal, with Rotherham Titans and Blackheath securing promotion to Champ Rugby after an enthralling title race.
As National League Rugby continues to grow, TRU looks forward to continuing to support the leagues and working with NLR and Clubber TV to help share the stories and moments that make this level of rugby so important.
