World Champions South Africa will be seen in action for the first time since they won the showpiece event for the third time when they host Scotland and Georgia in July next year.

The Springboks will be locking horns with Gregor Townsend's men in a two-game series on 4th and 11th July and this will be the first time these two teams face each other since the November series clash last year when Rassie Erasmus' men registered a 20-26 win at BT Murrayfield Stadium.

This will also be Scotland's first visit to South Africa since 2014 when they lost 6-55 in Port Elizabeth and overall the two teams have faced each other 27 times with Springboks having a dominant record of 22 wins.

After the two Tests against Scotland, South Africa will host Georgia for the first time on 18th July which will be just their second game overall between the two sides with the Springboks completing a 46-19 win during the 2003 World Cup clash in Sydney.
