Sharks announce signing of South Africa international Vincent Koch

Sharks have confirmed that South Africa international Vincent Koch from Stade Francais.

His signing follows after Bulls revealed that former captain Thomas du Toit will be heading to Bath Rugby at the end of the ongoing season.

The 33-year-old played for Stormers and Bulls in the initial phase of his career before representing Saracens between 2016 and 2022.

He joined Wasps last year but was without a club when the Coventry based club entered into administration before making a temporary move to Stade Francais.

Koch made his South Africa debut in 2015 and was part of the squad that went on to win the Rugby World Cup in 2019.

Sharks are positioned seventh in the United Rugby Championship table with eight wins from 15 matches.
