Sean Lamont replaces injured Tim Visser in Scotland's tour of Japan

Scotland have included seasoned centre Sean Lamont as a replacement for their injured winger Tim Visser for the tour of Japan which is scheduled to begin in June.

Visser suffered a knee injury while appearing for his club side Harlequins during the European Rugby Challenge Cup final against Montpellier.

Lamont (104), on the other hand, made his 100th appearance for his country during the World Cup last year and is only second to Chris Paterson (109) on the record for the most capped Scotland players.

Vern Cotter unveiled 27-man Scotland squad will be heading for a training camp at BT Murrayfield on 6th June before departing to Japan.

The tour will kick-off with the first Test on 18th June at Toyota Stadium, which will be followed by the second game on 25th June at Ajinomoto Stadium.
