Gregor Townsend has confirmed a 45-player Scotland squad for the Autumn Nations Series, which will feature four matches at Murrayfield.

The group includes 27 forwards and 18 backs, blending experienced internationals with uncapped talent.

Scotland will host the United States, New Zealand, Argentina and Tonga during the November fixtures.

Edinburgh duo Liam McConnell and Harri Morris have earned their first senior call-ups. McConnell, a 21-year-old flanker who has captained Emerging Scotland, and hooker Morris are both tipped as rising prospects.

Also in line for a debut is Montpellier number eight Alexander Masibaka, who previously featured in a non-cap match against the Maori All Blacks.

The squad also welcomes back Magnus Bradbury, returning to international duty for the first time since 2022, and tight-head prop Zander Fagerson, who is fit again following a calf injury. Edinburgh’s Pierre Schoeman, Marshall Sykes, D’Arcy Rae and Grant Gilchrist add to the forward depth.

In the backs, Sione Tuipulotu resumes the captaincy, while winger Duhan van der Merwe is on course to reach 50 caps. Playmaker Finn Russell remains Scotland’s most capped player, set to surpass 90 appearances, with Adam Hastings and Fergus Burke also named among the stand-offs.
