Savenaca Rawaca joins Saracens on multi-year deal

Saracens have signed Fiji sevens star Savenaca Rawaca.

The Aviva Premiership leaders announced that Rawaca, who can play at wing or centre, has signed a "multi-year deal" and will join them in time for next season.

Rawaca becomes Saracens' third new signing for next term after South African Schalk Burger and Wasps fly-half Alex Lozowski.

The 24-year-old has scored 10 tries on this season's World Rugby sevens circuit, while he touched down last year in the London and Dubai finals.

Saracens rugby director Mark McCall said: " Save is an exciting player, and at 24 years old he still has a huge amount of potential.

"I am sure his physical type of game will flourish in both the Aviva Premiership and European rugby.

"What has impressed us is Save's willingness to improve and work at his game, and we are very excited to be welcoming one of the game's most exciting prospects to Allianz Park next season."
