Harlequins have confirmed the signing of Saracens and Junior World Cup winner full-back Aaron Morris for the 2016/17 season.

Harlequins director of rugby John Kingston expressed his delight at the arrival of the young talent as he hopes Morris will strengthen his back three with the versatile full-back also being able to play as wing.

“Aaron is a highly regarded powerful and dynamic full-back who can also play on the wing.

“He will provide further competition for places across the back three where we consistently lose players to International representation over the course of the season.

“I am delighted he has opted to join Harlequins and I know our supporters will enjoy watching this outstanding young talent.”

The 21-year-old commenced his rugby career with Bedford Blues before getting a full-time contract offer at the age of 18 from Saracens’ Academy.

Morris represented England in U20s along with Quins centre Harry Sloan and back-row James Chisholm. He was also a part of the 2014 Junior World Cup winning side.

Morris is excited for the opportunity to play for Quins in front of supporters at Twickenham Stoop.

“I'm really excited for a new challenge in moving to Harlequins for next season. The Club have a lot of ambition and I can't wait to get the shirt on and play in front of the Harlequins supporters."
