Saracens centre Alex Lozowski has been handed a two-week ban after he was charged with two separate incidents following the recently concluded European Champions Cup clash against Glasgow Warriors.

Lozowski is alleged to have entered a ruck dangerously without binding to another player in the 15th minute of the game which is a breach of Law 9.20 and later was alleged to have performed a dangerous tackle on Glasgow full-back Ruaridh Jackson in the 33rd minute.

He appeared before an independent disciplinary committee on Tuesday and was proved guilty of the charges as the panel deemed the 25-year-old's action warranted a red card.

The panel stated that Lozowski was handed a two-one week ban for each incident as his offence was at the low end of World Rugby’s sanctions.

Lozowski's ban will end on 28th October which means he is set to be available for England's autumn international campaign that kicks-off on 3rd November.
