England head coach Steve Borthwick has included Sale Sharks back row Tom Curry in the 33-man training squad.

Curry underwent a hip surgery after the Rugby World Cup and recently made a comeback in the Premiership semi-final for Sale Sharks. He will be joined by his twin brother Ben but the squad does not contain players from Premiership finals - Northampton Saints and Bath Rugby.

Ben Curry, Bevan Rodd, George Ford, Raffi Quirke and Tom Roebuck are part of the squad while Charlie Atkinson and Marcus Smith are the fly-half options.

Leicester Tigers scrum-half Jack van Poortvliet makes a comeback with uncapped Joe Carpenter also given a chance.

Saracens fullback Elliot Daly will miss the upcoming tour as he is expecting birth of his first child.

England will be taking on Eddie Jones coached Japan on 22nd June before heading to New Zealand for a two-Test series against the All Blacks on 6th and 13th July.
