Rugby Australia chief executive Andy Marinos slammed the behaviour of a fan for his 'offensive remark' on England coach Eddie Jones.

Jones, who is an Australian and had coached the Wallabies in the past was branded 'a traitor' by a fan with the England boss responding back "What did you say? What did you say, Come here and say it. Come here and say it. Come here and say it."

The 62-year-old went on to guide England to their second successive series win in the Australian soil that came following a 21-17 win in the third Test in Sydney on Saturday.

"The offensive remarks made by spectators in the Members' areas towards England staff were unacceptable -– and not representative of the values of rugby," said Marinos in a statement released by the Australian board.

"We have a zero-tolerance policy for inappropriate behaviour, and we are working on appropriate sanctions for these individuals.

"Rugby prides itself on values of respect and integrity -– as seen in the players of both teams after the final whistle of a hard-fought series at the SCG on Saturday night."

Marinos also widely criticised the actions of a man who allegedly urinated from the roof of the Sydney Cricket Ground’s O’Reilly Stand. He was later arrested by the New South Wales Police and has been handed a two year ban by the SCG.

"The deplorable actions of the alleged intruder that made his way to the roof of the grandstand were disgraceful and dangerous," he said.

"This individual has been issued with a life ban from Rugby Australia events, and we will continue to support the authorities in their handling of the matter."
