Richie Gray and Luke Crosbie to miss remainder of Six Nations for Scotland

Scotland have suffered a double injury blow with Luke Crosbie and Richie Gray ruled out of the remainder of Six Nations tournament due to injuries.

Both the players were part of the starting line up in their tournament opening game against Wales which the Dark Blues went on to win with a 27-26 margin in Cardiff.

Gray sustained a damage to his bicep while Crosbie is sidelined with a shoulder injury which will keep them out of action for the remaining four fixtures in the competition.

Meanwhile, fullback Blair Kinghorn, who missed the game against Wales due to a knee injury will miss the second round game against France on Saturday but Gregor Townsend will be relieved to have the services of Grant Gilchrist, who is returning from a ban.

"WP Nel and Darcy Graham are recovering well from their injuries and they will resume training with Edinburgh this week," read a statement from Scotland.

"Glasgow Warriors Max Williamson and Alex Samuel are training with the squad this week, along with Jamie Dobie and Euan Ferrie."

Scotland are positioned third in the Six Nations table following their one point victory over Wales in the opening game.
