France lock Cameron Woki has described his team's performance against Uruguay as 'unacceptable' despite securing their second win in the ongoing Rugby World Cup campaign.

Head coach Fabien Galthie made a whopping 12 changes to the side that defeated the All Blacks in the opening game and they were put to test by a spirited Uruguay side, who were trailing by just one point by the 54th minute.

Nevertheless, tries from Peato Mauvaka and Louis Bielle Biarrey ensured there was no slip up as they sealed a 27-12 victory to maintain their perfect start in the tournament.

The Les Bleus had their disciplinary issues having penalised 15 times in the game while lock Romain Taofifenua was fortunate to escape a red card in the bunker review system for a dangerous tackle on Santiago Arata.

"Fifteen penalties is huge. It's unacceptable at international level, we're lucky to win after being penalised so many times," said Woki.

"We had worked hard [on discipline], we wanted to do something good and we just showed we were an ill-disciplined team", said Woki.

"It's very frustrating.

"We struggled in the scrums, we knew we were better but then we were not patient - we have to be patient."
