Antony Jelonch to captain France against Uruguay

France head coach Fabien Galthie has made 12 changes to the starting line up for the upcoming World Cup game against Uruguay to be played on Thursday.

Anthony Jelonch has recovered from his injury as he returns to the back row replacing Gregory Alldritt at number eight. He will also be captaining the side and will be joined by Sekou Macalou and Paul Boudehent as flankers.

While Cameron Woki has retained his place, Romain Taofifenua joins him as the preferred locks while Dorian Aldegheri, Pierre Bourgarit and Jean-Baptiste Gros start at front row.

Antoine Hastoy has been handed the kicking responsibility replacing Matthieu Jalibert while Antonie Dupont has been rested with Maxime Lucu given an opportunity at scrum-half.

Gabin Villiere will be the third player to retain his place in the starting line up but Louis Bielle-Biarrey comes in at right wing in the place of Damian Penaud. Arthur Vincent and Yoram Moefana start at midfield while Melvyn Jaminet takes the fullback position.

Bastien Chalureau is named amongst the replacements along with Thibuad Flament, Francois Cros, Thomas Ramos and Thibaud Flament.
