England have lost both Ollie Devoto and Josh Beaumont to injury as they prepare for Saturday's RBS 6 Nations clash with Ireland.

Devoto suffered a concussion during Bath's defeat to Wasps on Saturday and has been replaced by Northampton centre Luther Burell in the 32-man squad currently gathered at the team's Surrey training camp.

Of greater concern is the dislocated shoulder suffered by Beaumont at the end of Sale's defeat to Worcester and the number eight is unlikely to play any further part in England's championship.

The Rugby Football Union confirmed in a press release: "Thirty-two players assembled at Pennhyhill Park (on Sunday) evening to train for Saturday's RBS 6 Nations game against Ireland at Twickenham.

"Luther Burrell (Northampton Saints) replaces Ollie Devoto (Bath Rugby), who suffered concussion playing for his club on Saturday.

"Josh Beaumont sustained a dislocated shoulder during his game for Sale Sharks against Worcester Warriors on Saturday and will not join up with the squad."
