Nominees for European Player of the Year 2018 announced

Owen Farrell will be the only player from England and Aviva Premiership named in the 15-man nominations for the European Player of the Year 2018 Award.

Farrell, who is also the current holder of the award kicked 27 points in the recent European Champions Cup encounter against Northampton Saints that saw Saracens being the only Aviva Premiership side to make it to the play-off stage.

The list will be reduced to five players after the semi-finals in April before the winner is announced after the final on May 12.
