New Zealand 47-5 Fiji, San Diego
New Zealand came up with a seven try riot as they trounced Fiji 47-5 in their encounter in San Diego on Saturday.
The win meant the All Blacks continued their winning run under Scott Robertson having defeated England 2-0 earlier in the month.
New Zealand made a total of 11 changes from the side that defeated England 24-17 at Eden Park in Auckland with Billy Proctor being the only debutant from the starting line up. Fiji also had Viliami Botitu shifted to fullback from fly-half.
All Blacks started the proceedings in the 9th minute when Caleb Clarke went from one side to the other breaching the Fiji defence to touchdown and Damian McKenzie kicked the conversion to make it 7-0.
New Zealand doubled their tally shortly as they set a strong scrum following which Anton Lienert-Brown made a good carry with eventually Cortez Ratima going over the line in the 13th minute and once again McKenzie kicked the extras before a crossfield kick from Semi Radradra allowed Vilimoni Botitu to touchdown for the only points for Fiji in the game.
Debutant Proctor made an impression straightaway with a try in the 26th minute and Ardie Savea followed the suit in the 34th minute extending New Zealand's lead to 26-5 by the end of the opening half.
New Zealand continued to show domination in the second half as Sevu Reece dotted down in the 45th minute with further tries from Ethan De Groot and George Bell in the final quarter ensuring the All Blacks completed a comfortable 42 point victory.
