Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend has added uncapped hooker Neil Cochrane to the squad for the upcoming Six Nations 2018 tournament following an injury to George Turner.

Turner sustained a knee injury while playing for his club Glasgow Warriors in the recently concluded European Champions Cup encounter against Exeter Chiefs where he was replaced in the seventh minute.

With Fraser Brown and Ross Ford also sidelined with injuries, Townsend has turned to Edinburgh's Cochrane as a cover.

The squad will converge for a three-day training camp at Oriam this week ahead of the tournament opener against Wales at Principality Stadium on 3rd February.
