Australia coach Michael Cheika provided an update on flanker David Pocock, who has been sidelined with a calf injury.
Pocock last played for the Wallabies during the November series last year and was forced to miss the opening two games of the tournament against South Africa and Argentina.
The 31-year-old earlier announced his decision to retire from Super Rugby to focus on getting fit for the World Cup and Cheika would be desperately hoping for Pocock to gain some game time before the showpiece event that kicks-off in Japan in September.
"I wanted to stay away from putting a date on it, there's been too many dates put on it already," said Cheika.
"On Friday he ran at full game speed and he's getting everything sorted out so we'll see how he recovers.
"He needs to do a whole week with the team and once he's done that he'll be right."
Australia are currently positioned third in the Rugby Championship table and will be taking on New Zealand in the final round in Perth on 10th August.
