Munster 10-13 Leinster, Thomond Park
Scorecard

Jordan Larmour's try in the 69th minute proved decisive as Leinster came from behind to beat Munster 13-10 in a closely fought Pro14 encounter at Thomond Park on Saturday.

This is Munster's second defeat from 10 games but they still continue to top the table in Conference B while Leinster are at second place in Conference A.

Munster's last win over Leinster came in December 2018 and they were the first to open the account with a long-range penalty kick from JJ Hanrahan.

The home side extended their lead to 10 points when Tadhg Beirne with support from Peter O'Mahony went over the line and Hanrahan improved it. Leinster showed better intent in the second half and their attack provided reward with Sexton slotting a penalty goal in the 26th minute making it 10-3.

As the half-time was nearing, Hanrahan's penalty kick hit the post but Sexton with a three-pointer of his own reduced the arrears to four points.

Hanrahan missed early penalty on resumption as the scoreline continued to remain at 10-6. The 69th minute saw Ross Byrne send a grubber kick which was collected by Hugo Keenan as he sent Jordan Lamour over the line. Byrne followed with the conversion as Leinster registered a three-point victory.
