Injured duo Marcus Smith and Alex Mitchell have been linked up with England's three-day training camp in York ahead of the fourth round of the Six Nations clash against Ireland.

Both the players will continue their rehabilitation as they are looking to work their way around after injury setbacks.

Smith missed all the three matches of the competition until now due to a calf injury that he sustained during the training camp leading to the tournament while Mitchell sustained a knee injury forcing him to miss the game against Scotland.

"Marcus Smith (Harlequins) and Alex Mitchell (Northampton Saints) will join up with the squad to continue their rehabilitation from injury," the RFU confirmed.

Wing Immanuel Feyi-Waboso misses out on the selection in the 36-man squad as he has a medical exam at Exeter University.

Head coach Steve Borthwick has called up Northampton flanker Tom Pearson in the squad replacing the injured Ben Curry.

England are positioned third in the Six Nations table after managing just two wins from three matches.
