Wasps fly-half Lima Sopoaga has played down rumours of him leaving the Gallagher Premiership club.

Sopoaga, who has played 16 Tests for New Zealand between 2015 and 2017 joined the Ricoh Arena outfit ahead of the 2018/19 season with Danny Cipriani switching to Gloucester.

However, with Dai Young's men having a tough start to the season with two wins from seven games, reports have been circulating that the 28-year-old is likely to exit the club ahead of his third season with them.

"If everything rumoured about me were true, I'd be in five different places in the world at once, 7foot tall and playing for the Lakers... ok the last two aren't rumours, just my dreams," he said.

“I’m not going anywhere. If you wanna find me, I’ll be chasing my 2 year old on her scooter around Leamington.”

Wasps will now face Edinburgh at BT Murrayfield Stadium in the third round of the European Challenge Cup where they are positioned third in Pool 3 after losing and winning a game apiece in the first two rounds.
