Leonard Keen To Get More Youngsters Playing Sport

RFU Junior Vice-President Jason Leonard tells Talking Rugby Union that he is very keen for more youngsters to get into, and start enjoying sport, including rugby.

Asked about what sort of legacy he would like to leave behind following his time with the RFU, he talks about how important it is that the game continues to grow by providing boys and girls with an outlet to enjoy sport.

He wants them to get away from their computers, games consoles and tablets and instead enjoy playing sport, whether that be rugby, cricket or any other sport.

It is a cause that is important to him and one he will be championing during his time as RFU Junior Vice-President.

Leonard won four Grand Slams, the World Cup in 2003 and toured with the British & Irish Lions in 1993, 1997 and 2001 during his playing career.
