Leinster 52-0 Glasgow Warriors

Leinster Rugby delivered a near-flawless performance at the Aviva Stadium, trouncing Glasgow Warriors 52-0 to book their place in the semi-finals of the 2025 Champions Cup.

This emphatic win followed on from their 62-0 demolition of Harlequins in the previous round, meaning they’ve now scored 114 unanswered points in back-to-back knockout games. Leinster were relentless from the first whistle, dominating every phase of play and leaving their Scottish opponents shell-shocked.

Leinster wasted no time asserting their authority. In the 14th minute, Max Deegan crashed over the line for the opening try after a sequence of powerful forward carries.

Just nine minutes later, a penalty try was awarded when Glasgow were penalised for a deliberate knock-on close to their own line — with Adam Hastings also sent to the sin bin as a result. That pushed Leinster’s lead to 14-0.

The floodgates then opened. James Lowe dotted down in the 25th minute after a sweeping move across the backs. Tommy O'Brien added another five minutes later, finishing a pinpoint offload with clinical precision.

The assault continued when Hugo Keenan sliced through a gap in the 34th minute to score Leinster's fifth try of the half.

Sam Prendergast was impeccable with the boot, converting four of the five tries in the opening 40 minutes to give Leinster a 33-0 lead at halftime.

The second half offered little respite for Glasgow. In the 47th minute, Garry Ringrose muscled over from close range after a series of punishing phases.

Dan Sheehan then got in on the act in the 58th minute, finishing off a dominant rolling maul with Leinster’s seventh try of the night.

Max Deegan returned to the scoresheet in the 76th minute, bagging his second try to round off the rout. Though the final conversion missed, Leinster had already sent a statement — this was total rugby.
