Leicester Tigers have announced that Fiji international Nemani Nadolo will be leaving the club midway in the ongoing 2022/23 season.

Nadolo joined Leicester Tigers in 2020 and has gone on to make 37 appearances for them scoring 16 tries. He was also the club's leading try scorer with 10 touchdowns during the victorious 2021/22 Premiership season.

The 34-year-old has come to a "mutual agreement" with the Tigers that will grant him a release ahead of the 2023 season of Super Rugby Pacific where he will represent Waratahs.

Nadolo made his Test debut for Fiji in 2010, where Waratahs Head Coach Darren Coleman was the Assistant Coach, against Australia and has scored 22 tries in 32 Tests and starred for the Flying Fijians in the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

He also represented Waratahs previously in 2009 and 2010 seasons before having stints with Crusaders, Montpellier, Exeter Chiefs, NEC Green Rockets and Bourgoin.

"I’ll forever be grateful to the club for understanding my situation and allowing my family and I to move back to Australia," he told the club's official website.

"Even though I’m not done yet, I’m still 100% committed to the cause."

"There is a lot of rugby to be played from now until I leave and I look forward to hopefully making many more memories in the Tigers jersey."
