John Hodnett, Dan Goggin and James French sign new contracts with Munster

Munster have announced that John Hodnett, Dan Goggin and James French have penned new contracts with the club until the end of the 2023/24 season.

All three players are products of Munster Academy with Goggin making his senior club debut in 2016 and since then has made 71 appearances for them apart from featuring for Ireland 7s side.

Hodnett, a former Ireland Under 20 international, went on to feature for the province in 2020 and was already contracted with Munster until 2023. He has now signed a one-year contract exension.

Having missed nearly all of last season with an achilles injury, the 23-year-old made his Champions Cup debut against Wasps in December and has featured in all four European Pool games this season.

Meanwhile, French has signed a two-year contract extension until summer of 2024. He made his senior debut for Munster in the Heineken Champions Cup game against Wasps.

Munster are at fifth place in the United Rugby Championship table with five wins from seven matches while they will be locking horns with Exeter Chiefs in the two legs of round of 16 clash in the Heineken Champions Cup.
