Harlequins have confirmed that Joe Marchant will be leaving the club at the end of the ongoing season.

A product of Harlequins Academy, the 26-year-old made his senior debut with the club in 2014 and was part of the side that went on to win the Premiership in the 2020/21 season.

Marchant has gone on to make over 130 appearances with the club and also had a short-term loan stint with Blues in 2020. He also went on to make his debut for England in 2019.

“I am very proud and grateful to have been part of Harlequins for the last 10 years," he told in a statement released by the club.

"I’ve made some amazing memories on and off the field and made great friends along the way. This club has been a home to me and will always have a place in my heart.

“The time has come for me to depart the Club and I am excited for my next challenge ahead. I will make the most of every moment for the rest of this season proudly wearing my Quins shirt.

“Thank you for all the support!”

Harlequins are at third place in the Gallagher Premiership table with four wins from seven matches.
