Argentina international Jeronimo de la Fuente becomes the latest player to part ways with Jaguares.

The decision follows after the Argentine Rugby Union had asked Jaguares players to look for overseas options after the 2020 Super Rugby season was disrupted by the pandemic coronavirus.

The 29-year-old started his career with Pampas XV in 2013 and made his debut for Jaguares in 2016. Fuente played 54 Tests for Argentina since his international debut in 2014 and had represented them in the 2015 and 2019 World Cups.

“The first thing I want to say is that I am eternally grateful for everything I have experienced in these last 10 years," he told the official website of the club.

“I want to thank the Argentine Rugby Union for this decade spent in the system and where I was able to develop my career as a professional. Without a doubt, full of learning, with indelible experiences and where I was also able to grow as a person.”
