Australian lock Jed Holloway has officially departed Leicester Tigers following the conclusion of his short-term contract.
Holloway, who joined the Tigers late last year, will now continue his rugby journey in the Major League Rugby (MLR) with San Diego Legion.
Holloway made his Leicester Tigers debut as a substitute in December against Sale Sharks and went on to make a total of six appearances in the iconic Tigers jersey.
His versatility and physical presence were particularly evident in his starting performance against Ulster Rugby at Mattioli Woods Welford Road.
Although his time with the club was brief, Holloway's commitment and contribution left a positive impression on both his teammates and fans.
The next step in Holloway’s career takes him to Major League Rugby, where he will join the San Diego Legion. Known for his lineout expertise and work rate, the Australian international is expected to bring significant value to the American side.
In a statement, the club expressed gratitude for Holloway's efforts during his time with the Tigers: "The club wishes Jed the best of luck with his next journey in Major League Rugby with San Diego Legion and thank him for his commitment and impact in his short time with the club."
