Jamal Ford-Robinson has officially extended his contract with Gloucester Rugby, the club confirmed ahead of the final round of the 2024/25 Gallagher Premiership season.

The experienced prop, who joined the Cherry and Whites in 2019, remains committed to the team’s ambitions despite being sidelined with a long-term injury.

The 30-year-old has made over 100 appearances since arriving at Kingsholm and has earned a reputation for his powerful presence and versatility in the front row, being capable of playing on both sides of the scrum.

His contribution, both on and off the field, has made him a valued figure in the Gloucester setup.

Expressing his satisfaction, Ford-Robinson said, “I’ve loved my time here at Gloucester. It’s a special group of players and staff, and I’m really enjoying my rugby.”

The club sees the new deal as a significant step in strengthening their squad continuity and experience in the forwards. Despite not featuring in the latter part of the season due to injury, Ford-Robinson’s influence has been evident throughout his tenure.

Gloucester Rugby Director of Rugby George Skivington praised the prop’s impact:

“Jamal is a great character and a real professional. He’s a very experienced prop who adds depth and quality to our front row and is someone the younger guys can learn a lot from.”
