New Zealand fullback Israel Dagg has been ruled out of the remainder of the international season following a knee injury.

The 29-year-old had a surgery on his knee earlier this year and made a comeback in the game against Samoa in Auckland.

He was also part of the squad in the three-match Test series against British and Irish Lions and scored a try in the Rugby Championship encounter against Argentina.

Dagg, however, missed the game against Springboks due to the injury and will join Owen Franks (Achilles tendon), Joe Moody (dislocated shoulder) and Jordie Barrett (shoulder) on the sidelines.

New Zealand, who had a record win of 57-0 win over Springboks last weekend currently top the table with 19 points from four games and are set to take on Argentina next at Estadio Jose Amalfitani on 1st October.
